The People Who Empower Teens

Cynthia “CeCe” O’Neal, CYLC (Certified Youth Life Coach)

As a teen advocate, I lead the effort for Regional initiatives focused on building community coalitions in the area of teen suicide prevention through effective research and identification of best practices.

As a youth life coach, I help teens embrace the power that is already within them to be successful in every area of their lives. My passion is to ignite HIGH expectations into the lives of youth! I believe in treating each client as a unique individual, with their own personal story, dreams, desires, and fears. Each coaching session is designed to meet the needs of the individual, taking care to always acknowledge that no one is perfect, and that we are all a work in progress.

As a public speaker, I engage community leaders on subjects related to teen suicide prevention and how positive affirmation can have a major positive affect on all youth served by an organization. I engage parents on how to bring out the best in their teens; and I engage teens on how to step into their light.

Professionally, I have worked in the oil and gas industry for over 18 years as a change management, project management and training and development consultant for numerous Fortune 500 organizations including: Halliburton, ConocoPhillips, and Exxon Mobil. Each of my roles have provided opportunities for me to develop expertise in the areas of strategic planning, team building, conflict resolution, training design and delivery, and managing teams.

I’m currently working towards a Master of Arts in Counseling (Life Coaching) from Liberty University – (graduation date is May 2019). I am a Certified Youth Life Coach and I have a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. I am also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
